The climate is very varied in Argentina.  On our trip, we hit beaches, went hiking, snowboarding, so pack according to where you’ll be going.

Nightlife in Buenos Aires is quite trendy in places – so pack smart pants /a lovely dress and shoes / heels, or the picky bouncers won’t let you in!  Of course, if you’re just hanging in the student bars of San Telmo then this isn’t an issue….but in our experience it’s always good to pack something smart, for things like spontaneous wedding invites, for example!

In Mendoza, hire a bicycle and self-tour the vineyards.  Don’t hit the absinthe place too early!  Leave time for a tour of the most famous bodega – Trapiche
